Kitchen - Dining Room Tour

This is my favourite room in the house. It was the first room we tackled when we moved in and is the one we have put the most effort into, and rightly so as it is where we spend most of our time.

The kitchen itself, the floors and the window (I HATE the window) will eventually be changed but as they are all in perfectly working order we'll stick with them for the moment.

This is the room beforehand...

And this is what we have done with it...

The running theme in the whole house is white with splashes of colour and graphic prints. This rooms main colour is yellow, with a small amount of green coming from the plants.

The table is Ikea's Nornas, which is extendable so can sit up to ten people. The bench is the from the matching Nornas set, and the chairs are Eames style knock offs from Bargain Town.

The colours within the prints match the colours of the room, yellow, green and grey, and were ordered from Society 6LILA X LOLA and the Poolbeg Print is from Jam Art in Temple Bar.

I would love to change the work tops to something a bit brighter and change the tiles to Subway tiles. (So original...but they look so good!)

The corner sofa is the Norsborg from Ikea - which Jamie built himself. Cushions are from Penny's and the red plant will eventually be changed when I remember to buy a new pot.

Note: Make sure you do a good job if sanding down anyway you want to use chalk paint on. Nightmare.
